Hi, I’m Sophia—though most people call me Soph! I’ve been a professional hairstylist for three years, with a passion that began back in middle school when I spent every spare moment experimenting on friends and myself. I graduated from Paul Mitchell School in Costa Mesa, CA, and have since dedicated myself to the art of hairstyling.
I specialize in creating deep, rich brunette shades, brondes, coppers, and more. I’m also skilled in extensions, lived-in blondes, Brazilian blowouts, and precision cuts for long hair and bobs. My certifications for extensions include K-tip/I-tip.
What I love most about my work is witnessing the physical and emotional transformations that bring out my clients’ confidence and smiles. Outside the salon, you’ll find me collecting vinyl records, hunting for ’80s treasures at thrift stores, adding to my collection of traditional tattoos, watching horror movies, or enjoying time by the river with my dogs.
Born and raised in Aurora, IL, I’m proud to bring a touch of Midwest charm to my work here in Austin.
